Neal Martin: The 2014 Les Tourelles de Longueville did not show as
well as some might have expected at primeur. Now in bottle, I stand
by that original sentiment because there is something a little
anonymous on the nose, missing the fruit intensity or the terroir
expression one would have hoped for. The palate is better: simple
red berry fruit laced with cedar and a dash of spice, an easygoing
Deuxieme Vin that should perhaps aspire for more.
